Sort

Allows you to sort data records into ascending/descending order.

Lets take a look at the original data. 

Drag the sort tool to the canvas. In this example, lets sort by field name first_name and then sort it in ascending order. I will run the workflow to show you the before and after. To show the before click on the input anchor and to show the after click on the output anchor. First name is now in ascending order.

Lets go back into the  sort tool. Lets click on the drop down menu under order and then sort as descending. I will run the workflow and show you the before and after. First name is now in descending order.
